Why use a Property Buyers Agent?

Buyers Agents are specialists in the field of buying property. As licensed professionals, we work exclusively for the buyer rather than the seller. This includes providing advice to you on property matters and managing the buying process end-to-end. Our services include:

  • Strategy - building personalised strategies for our clients.

  • Sourcing - using our network to source on and off market deals.

  • Due diligence - we conduct all required due diligence to ensure the selected property is fit-for-purpose and will deliver long term results.

  • Management - we manage the entire buying process from negotiating with agents, to liaising with your property team including brokers and conveyancers, through to assisting you with the handover to a new property manager upon settlement.

  • Community - we provide ongoing support as part of the Sunday Buyers investing community, helping you to be ready for any future investing opportunity as it comes up.

A good Buyers Agent will have no vested interest in any specific properties, selling agencies or developers.

At Sunday, we partner with you to provide advice and education on property investing to achieve financial freedom. Our team lives and breathes the property market, keeping our boots on the ground and finger on the pulse to ensure our clients are equipped with the most up-to-date information on property trends.

How is Sunday different to other Buyers Agents?

Whilst it is a standard requirement that Buyers Agents are qualified real estate agents, many lack personal property investment experience. At Sunday, as well as being seasoned property investors our team holds formal qualifications in real estate, mortgage broking, finance broking, accounting, financial management and economics, in addition to being accredited as Qualified Property Investment Advisors (QPIA®) with the Property Investment Professionals of Australia (PIPA).

Is a Buyers Agent worth the fee?

This is really up to you as the client to determine. Here are some things to consider…

Time - How much time will you have to commit to learning about how property markets work, learning about the buying process, learning about what makes a good property and liaising with stakeholders such as the selling agent, building and pest inspectors and conveyancers? What value do you put on your time and how can you be sure you’re making the right choice?

Money - A good Buyers Agent will have a strong network of real estate professionals which they can leverage to get access to off-market and pre-market deals. This, combined with their expert negotiation skills and knowledge of the market means they are often able to secure property at below market value for their clients, without the hassle of competition. This is great as it expedites your property investment journey.

Wealth - Anyone can buy property, the trick is, buying the right property. This is where a Buyers Agent can earn their crust. An experienced Buyers Agent can be the difference between a property which grows in value at 3% per year versus a property which grows at 7% per year. It sounds minor, but over the life of your investment journey this can total hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars in difference to your net worth.
